Cat Island

Eleuthera
100 miles long, and only 3 miles wide, pink sand beaches. At Glass Window, the island is only wide enough for one car to pass through. At this point, see Atlantic Ocean on one side, calm Caribbean Sea waters on other side. Drive North, take Ferry to Spanish Wells, or Harbour Island.
Exuma
Actor Johnny Depp bought a whole island in the Exumas. Favorite dive spot is Mystery Cave with access to Blue Holes. Boat charters to Exuma Cays Land, Sea Park located off northern coast.
Harbour Island
Lively island off coast of Eleuthera.Famous pink sand beaches of Harbour Island have been photographed by travel magazines for years. Lots of dining and entertainment.
Inagua
Best known for population of birds. Flocks of Pink Flamingos at Island National Park. Limited lodging, few swimming spots. Island is dominated by Morton Salt Company, covering more than 34,000 acres.
Long Island
Tropic of Cancer runs through island. Like the name, island is extremely long and thin. Popular, daring shark dive at Stella Maris. Caves have ancient carvings from Lucuyans, original Indian inhabitants.
San Salvador
Island has distinction of the Bahamas' most historically significant island. This was Columbus first stop in the New World. Columbus arrived at the end of his journey across Atlantic in 1492. Exact location
