The hurricane season in the Caribbean officially runs from June 1 through November 30, with September being the peak time for a hurricane to hit.
Most of the Caribbean islands have an average temperature of 80 degrees. Islands such as Aruba and Barbados have cooling tradewinds, and the temperature may be quite hot, but it doesn't feel like it!

Aruba lies outside the hurricane belt, and the island of Barbados has been extremely lucky with the last hurricane over 30 years ago.
